Here, we explain what they are and go over which one may be right for you.

Direct Dial Long Distance

This service is sometimes called "traditional long distance service". It requires that you have a home phone and that you switch your long distance company to IBNtel. In most cases, this service does not work with cellular phones.

The advantages of having this service is that you can dial your destinations directly without the need for an access code or a PIN. This service is available on all phones in the continental US and the lowest rate available is 2.3 ¢/min for interstate domestic calls. This is lowest rate offered by any long distance company in the US for this service.

This service is great for both residential and business customers because of the convenience it offers when placing your calls given that you can call without having to dial any extra digits. You sign up for this service on either a post-paid or pre-paid basis. Activation for this service normally takes between 3 to 5 business days.

Dial Around Long Distance

Unlike the direct dial long distance service, this service requires that you first dial an access code before you can make a long distance call through IBNtel.

This service works with both home phones and cellular phones and you are not required to switch your long distance carrier to use this service.

You can use either a toll free access code or a local access code with this service. The toll free access code can be used from any phone in the US and much of Canada and the Carribean.

The rates when using the toll free access code are for the most part the same as the rates for the Direct Dial service. The lowest rate available with this service is 2.3 ¢/min for interstate domestic calls.

The rates when using the local access code are lower with the lowest rate available being 1.7¢/min for interstate domestic calls. Local access codes are not available everywhere in which case your only option is to use the toll free access code.

You can choose to use either the toll free access code or the local access code at anytime and the rates are calulated accordingly (slighly higher when using the toll free access code)

Both of these services require that you pre-register your phone and you don't need a PIN to make your calls since the registered phone is used to identify the caller.

This service is great for both residential and business customers because you are not required to switch your long distance carrier. Calling Card/Phone Card Option

This option is similar to the Dial Around service given that you have to dial an access code to use this service. However, you are also required to enter a PIN after dialing the access code. Given that you are using a PIN to identify yourself, the Calling Card long distance service can be used from any phone without the need to register the phone you're calling from.

You can use either a toll free access code or a local access code with this service. The toll free access code can be used from any phone in the US and much of Canada and the Carribean.

The rates when using the toll free access code are for the most part the same as the rates for the Dial Around service. The lowest rate available with this service is 2.3 ¢/min for interstate domestic calls.

This service is great for customers on the go since all you need is to register your PIN after which you can call from any phone either landline or cellular. Unlimited Long Distance Service

IBNtel now offers Unlimited Long Distance Service to over 60 destinations including the US, Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Israel, Romania, Russia, UK and many more.

Unlike most other unlimited long distance services currently available, you don't need high speed internet to use this option. This service works by using local access codes and is very similar to the Dial Around Service. Local Access Codes are not available in all areas so this service may not be available in your area.

This service is great for customers that make a medium or high number of long distance calls or for customers who don't wish to worry about what they're being charged for every call.

This service is available on a pre-paid basis only and you need to pre-register your phone to use this option. The cost is $17.50 per month if you prepay for a whole year or $19.50 per month if you prepay on a monthly basis.

Activation normally takes less than 24 hours and often you can request to have your services activated while you're on the phone if you call our customer service department.

Unlimited Calling Card Service

IBNtel now offers Unlimited Calling Card Service to over 60 destinations including the US, Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Israel, Romania, Russia, UK and many more. This is a new and very unique service that is not currenly offered by any other long distance providers in the US.

Unlike most other unlimited long distance services currently available, you don't need high speed internet to use this option.
